Gennady Zubkov and his school

The exhibition is dedicated to the memory of the artist Gennady Gerasimovich Zubkov (1940–2021), who developed the ideas of the classical Russian avant-garde in his work. From 1963 to 1973, Gennady Zubkov was part of a group of artists who studied the pictorial culture of the early twentieth century under the guidance of a student of K. S. Malevich V. V. Sterligov. In the 1990s, Zubkov organized the school of the art association "Form + Color", based on the pedagogical system of the "Invisible Institute" of V. V. Sterligov
