Builder and benefactor of the Cathedral Savva Yakovlevich Yakovlev is depicted on the first card; the portrait was painted by Kolokoltsev M. L.
On the second card there is a view of the Sennaya square and the Church in 1900-ies; photographs by K. Bulla.
Other postcards depict the interior of the Church in 1938 (after the Church was closed).
In January 1961 the Church was blown up. Many citizens of St.Petersburg remember this dark green five-domed Cathedral and exhibit the effort to restore it. Thanks to the preserved drawings and photographs the architects of St. Petersburg have developed the project of rebuilding the temple. The concept of recreating is shown on the last card.
