Fyodor Andreevich Puzanov (1888-1965) served as a priest in churches in the Novgorod and Pskov regions during the Great Patriotic War. During the partisan movement, he maintained contact with partisans from 1942 onward. He collected 500,000 rubles and donated them through partisans to Leningrad to support the creation of a Red Army tank column. In 1944, he received the 2nd degree state award "Partisan of the Patriotic War." It was a gift from the priest's daughter, N.F. Dmitrieva, a partisan in the 8th Detachment of the 10th Brigade. The cassock was made from a German greatcoat.
